PCSX2 0.9.8 baru saja dirilis
oleh Tim PCSX2. Satu-satunya emulator PS2 terbaik ini telah mengalami banyak
perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas game di antaranya:
Lebih cepat dan stabil dari versi
sebelumnya (v0.9.6).
Semakin banyak game2 yang bisa dimainkan
& lebih dari 1500 game sudah bisa dimainkan.
Gsdx dan SPU2-X lebih cepat, stabil dan
lebih banyak pilihan configurasi.
Pilihan pause,resume & shutdown pada
menu benar2 stabil, aman, & cepat.
Memory Card yang lebih fleksibel ukurannya
antara 8 - 64 Mb.
Perbaikan special games/patches otomatis
terdeteksi jika diperlukan.

* CPU: Any that supports SSE2 (Pentium 4 and up, Athlon64 and up)
* GPU: Any that supports Pixel Shader model 2.0, except Nvidia FX series (broken SM2.0, too slow anyway)
* 512MB RAM (note Vista needs at least 2GB to run reliably)

* Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) with the latest DirectX
* CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2ghz or better
* GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support)
* RAM: 1GB on Linux/Windows XP, 2GB or more on Vista
